On an earlier post, you refer to the possibility of using Self-Hosted video as background. Now, there only seems to be the option of Hosted. I have selected this, and tried to link it to an mp4 file I’ve uploaded to the media library but nothing shows (with or without a placeholder image). The YouTube video works fine, but I don’t want to put my video there. Please help! Thank you :)

Sure, you can use a hosted video option with the Parallax & Video Backgrounds plugin.
It’s in the 3rd tab of the Row Settings. Did you manage it there and everything?
May I see your URL please? You can also attach credentials (use a private reply) so I can take a look at how far you got. :)

When I untick the video link on the first tab (linking to YouTube) and choose Video content and Hosted video on the Background tab, not only does the video not work, a number of other items elsewhere on the page selected in the Background tab fail – ie, background images and colours, separators. My whole page changes! Please help. I was just uploading the hi-res and final images ready to show the directors but it’s all changed.

I switched the Row setting ROW STRETCH to DEFAULT in the first tab as It is stretched from the 3rd tab (belonging to the Parallax and Video plugin, where the video gets set) and it seems to work now.
