How to fix google fonts not loading over SSL

I looked into functions.php and css file but I could not find http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,700,600 that gets google fonts blocked over SSL.

I am having the same issue. It loads but making our site utterly slow.

I think it’s a different matter. You can use cache plugins that are able to handle google fonts requests.

I am still not able to resolve this, any luck? Getting massive error in the console.

Hi WJC,

I think it’s hardcoded in your PAge Settings for this page (the cog icon in the top right where you put custom Page CSS)!

The fonts are dynamically loaded from google according to the certificate you use.
puhm, in your case the loaded in the script: https://poweruphosting-poweruphostingco.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-hummingbird-cache/a0086490883846ee590de09b2345bf3b.js

as the console says and I have no idea what you are doing there…
Your best shot would be to again disable all your plugins, including the cache one, then see where the error comes from (I can try to help too)!

How come you haven’t tested everything up on a testing environment prior to going live when you are using so many plugins, external calls, etc.
I can understand your inclination to blame it all on the theme but you have so many variables going on …
