Dear Support,

On my website: http://www.reformedfatass.com

The background container image is too large on mobile and the user has to keep scrolling – the container pixel height size is maintained which creates an issue for user experience. How do I adjust container background image or video to a responsive size. See pdf link that shows example from another website and I would like to know if its possible to do this.

THanks,

Patrick

Hi there Patrick,

Which image/row are you referring to on your home page?
You need to first understand how Background-sizing property works. Check these out:

http://www.css3.info/preview/background-size/

It’s then easy to understand what you have to do, basically you would change your container’s size in order to apply the background image better – obviously there’s no universal solution for this as the COVER Background-size crops the image differently on different devices so you should simply experiment with different padding and margins for your containers. You can also apply CSS classes to the Rows and change the Background-size property itself in mobile for specific cases where you want it!
Video backgrounds in mobile – no such thing in general as it’s a device compatibility issue.
