Massive Addons breaks my homepage on selfhelp.insitute after installation with the following error:

Its shortcodes break, too when I try to use them in other places.
I have deactivated the plugin for now. Let me know if you need admin access and how I can forward the credentials privately.

Could be some inconsistency and conflict with the theme…

The screenshots above show parts of the homepage with and without Massive Addons installed. Massive Addons is a very popular and top rated Visual Composer plugin that’s been around for a while.
For some reasons I can’t replicate the timeline shortcode issues (the timeline items were displaying one on top of the other and over the footer). I’ll let you know if I can replicate the issue again.

Hi again,

I found what’s causing it.
It’s this CSS in your MPC plugin:

.mpc-row[data-vc-full-width] {
    overflow: visible;
}

No idea why they have, no idea why they add this to all the Rows that are full width, but it seems a bit out of hand…
If you override it in your CSS you will see things get better, try doing this in your Child theme css file or Theme options->Custom CSS:

.vc_row[data-vc-full-width] {
    overflow: hidden !important;
}

This should be the default state for the full width rows as done in Visual composer!

Thank you for your help. So far, the homepage displays correctly. I haven’t tested any shortcodes yet.
I also let the Massive Addons theme know about your solution.

Hello,

Yes, it is good solution if that styles interfere with your theme layout and make it collapse ( should not happen if theme is using default VC grid system ).

We need that code for some of our features, i.e. Tooltips in order to not be cut when displayed near Row edge.
