this happens for new pages created, while those of the demo do not have this problem

1. You mean you want to create your own portfolio template? If that’s what you mean then yes, simply follow the pattern of the rest of them, you should have a similar code at the start of your file:

/**
 * Template Name Posts: Portfolio My Custom Portfolio Template
 */

2. No such feature out of the box I believe, but you should be able to find a plugin for that…

3. For CSS or for JS? As you can see there’s css related to that here:

\fortuna\stylesheets\grid_responsive.css

but then again there’s more here and there, something in specific you want to tweak?

4. Always visible, Are you sure you want to eat up user’s screen for a footer always visible, not a good idea I think, especially for people with smaller screens, they would only see a tiny portion of the site when scrolling…
