Well, I completely removed the old to install the new, but VC doesn´t work on items-portofolio, however in the general settings VC are enabled to post, portfolio, page.
(I can edit on post and page, only have a problems with the portfolio)

I have WordPress 4.5

As for the Portfolio items… Make sure you deactivate and activate again the Portfolio plugin.
