Hi,

I have purchased fortuna theme and am building a shop as part of it. The shop is for selling domains. When I add domain.com it automatically transforms URL to /products/domain-com/

How do I “force” it to keep it as /products/domain.com/

You add it where?

Usually as in WP core adding
http://
in front of URLs helps.

I add it in the the Products -> Add Product
the sale item is a domain name, so I add its title for example, blueowl.com and the script automatically creates permalink http://mysite.com/product/blueowl-com/ while I want it to create http://mysite.com/product/blueowl.com/

I edit it but it again converts dot into dash.

Oh, I see.

This is also not really a theme question, rather a Woocommerce/WP core one…
My assumption is this is expected behavior as dots have a different meaning in a URL and I am not even sure you can use them as you expect.
Anytime you have a dot or another special char in a url WordPress replaces it with a dash so that it’s machine readable!
