Hi there guru,

The Revolution slider is a separate plugin, you get it free with the theme as I have purchased an Extended license for it that lets me distribute it with my theme. Obviousyl the license for the theme is not going to work as when you buy the plugin you get a different license for it, which is the one they check against… As you can see in the message on top that is asking you if you want to activate it, that doesn’t really apply for the case when you got the plugin bundled with a theme – “This is optional and not needed if the slider came bundled with a theme.”
I am still going to forward a question to my friends over at ThemePunch (the creators of the cool Rev slider) if there’s a way to still activate it in this case and get back with you.

Hi again,

Yes, Themepunch (the authors of the great Rev Slider plugin) confirmed that the activation only works for their direct clients, as they cannot check towards other license keys. I will try to keep the plugin version up-to-date in my theme updates, if anyone desires an exclusive update for their slider plugin please contact me via contact@blueowlcreative.com with your purchase information (theme license + username/email) and I will be happy to mail it to them.
Thanks!
