The version in the v1.50 package was newer than what I had installed, so I went ahead and updated the plugin but now its broken and I don’t have the older version to roll back to… :(

IT only asks you to activate it if you want, that is not required of course and actually impossible when the plugin comes with the theme. Don’t worry about it, also don’t hesitate to ask me for an update if at some point you want it and the theme is not out yes with the latest one. :)

An update of the Revslider is coming up with the theme update soon.
Simply disregard the update notice of the plugin.
Not sure about the slide – you may want to check their documentation.
