1. i would like to know how to change the text in the search area (“Type then hit..”)?
2. Is it possible to add more social media icons (links) in the sub-header? like “jameda.de”?

1. It’s in your “boc_search_form_in_header” method in your \includes\boc_framework.php

2. Not out of the box – no. You could do so by overwriting your header.php template in your Child theme and hardcode the icon + link in it.
