I would like to do something similar to the demo in “Cool Section Borders” page.

The section called “Fortuna is Amazing”: how do I get an image on one side and text on the other and get the tilt effect? I’ve tried using split rows and putting backgrounds in each column but then the tilt effect doesn’t show.

This is a feature of the Parallax and Video Backgrounds plugin. You will find it in the last tab of the Row Settings (EFFECT -> Seperator). :)

But as soon as I add backgrounds in the 2 column settings, the tilt affect goes away. It only worked if I had the one background in the Row settings. What am I missing?

It’s 2 columns sure, but the background is set to the ROW, not the column. ;)
