I am having trouble uploading an images to my media library I keep getting this message
The uploaded file could not be moved to uploads/2016/04.

This would be hardly a theme issue… :)
Still, check your wp installation paths, directory file rights on your server.
You could also ask your host admins to check the system logs, maybe that will give you more info.
