Awesome Template! Couple of Questions

Hey! First off, great template I love it. I have a couple questions, I have moderate coding knowledge, so this is going to be a bit of learning process but I know I can figure it out. I would like to change the header around to make it more cleaner, I am pretty sure that by deleting a few lines of code in header.php will achieve the result I want. Can you point me to the right location? Do i need to change anything in the stylesheet to achieve this result. Here is a picture to show what I am thinking:

I believe I want to be using UberMenu for the main navigation so dont worry about the menu design.
