Change the header section background color

How would I go about changing the header section background color? I tried editing the stylesheet.css file in several different areas, but nothing is working. I was able to get a section of that to change color, but not the whole thing. If you visit http://clients.freshpressstudios.com and look at the homepage, I need the entire top part above the video to be a different color.
