Column widths

Hi, I am working with column shortcut (not in a row container), and it won’t give me two “six”-wide columns side by side. The texts goes under the first column. If I change the width to “six” and “five” then they show up side by side.
I am on a Template+side bar page where I should have a total of 12 columns to work with. What am I doing wrong?
http://nasatocka.com/metal/aaa-test/ shows the six and five widths.
