Deleting 3rd click option in portfolio

Hi,
First of all, thanks for great support so far.
Here’s a new one: My client doesn’t want the single portfolio-item to be “clickable”. If you do it today, you click on the portfolio item from a carosel or the portfolio page which gets you to the single portfolio item page. From there we’d like the click options to end. Now, I understand that I have to remove some code (probably in the single-portfolio.php) But what do I delete? Also, obviously, it would be great if the grey hoover-function dissapeared. Thanks in advance.
