Icons do not show once changed in demo template

Only the icons in the demo theme template work i.e. screen, cog and profile. As soon as I change them to something else they do not work. I have used the icon name from here: http://themeforest.net/item/aqua-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-template/full_screen_preview/3649588

For example, I replaced “screen” with “icon-home” and also tried “home” on its own and neither way worked. It just showed no icon.

I have the following on my home page, using the demo template. But I want to change the icons.

I have also tried using the icon short cut on sub pages and the only icons that will work in there are screen, cog and profile.

For example, the “eg” given is the only icons that work – yet there are HEAPS shown on the Aqua Theme Live Preview.
