Menu font size

Hi,
I’m trying to change font size of the main menu, I have lot options and the bar takes two lines but looks bad
I’m changing stylessheet.css, here:
#menu > ul > li > a {
and
#menu {
But doesn’t works.
You can take a look how it looks like now:
