Portfolio Carousel does not work properly

Hi,

I tried to insert the portfolio carousel inside the home page but it turns out weird.

1. The portfolio is squeezed together. I would like to show two portfolio items lined up in a row (not a column). How can I make these changes?

2. The portfolio headline is higher than the testimonials’ headline.
