Revolution Slider – images will not save to slides

Hi there I’ve just installed the Rev Slider latest version 2.1.4 on my WP backend running new version 3.5. After installing, I try to create a new slide which works OK except when I attempt to attach an image to a slide it will not save the image to the slide. I can add layers and text, etc, but no images will save. I’ve tried different images and I even tried loading a different slider (LayerSlider WP 3.6.0) but I get the same problem.

I’m thinking it may be a JQuery issue or something??? If you could help I’d be most grateful.
