Submenu customization

I’ve updated the background of my submenu to be different from the main menu. I’m having difficulty changing the text hover color of the submenu because I want it to be different than the hover color that I designated in my theme options. What is the CSS to turn my submenu hover text color to white?

In addition, is there a way to change the height of the submenu?
