I’ve imported the demo content and everything works fine – except for the post and portfolio carousels. All the preview images have different heights, whichs makes the look kind of strange.
Do I overlook a setting, which crops the images or defines a standard height for all images of a carousel?

I’ve activated the Child-Theme, but since then I can’t choose a Template for a Portfolio Item. It states “This theme has no available custom post templates.”

As for the custom post templates – yes – check this:

That one should be using the cropped version of 600×380 by default, you are not setting anything in the Images Tab, are you?

But when I try to activate the Plugin with the new post-type, I get the following error:

Basically to duplicate the whole logic of the CPT you need to duplicate acrocss all methods/templates/functionality.
In your case looks like you haven’t changed the name of the “boc_cpt_post_types” method.
When you duplicate make sure you use new names for everything.

Currently my code looks like this, with the new post-type “datenbanken”:

Do I need to change the name of the function “boc_cpt_post_types” for example into “boc_cpt_post_types_datenbanken”? I didn’t do that, because it wasn’t part of the instruction.

It wasn’t in the instructions cuz the instructions are not about duplicating the CPT, they are about changing the CPT to a different name, slug etc.

what about the original problem about the heights in the post carousel?
