Change heading background color

Is there a way to change the heading background color in the theme options? I’m successfully able to change the color of the heading background at the PAGE level using the option called “Overwrite default page heading background”. However, I’d like to set this property at the site level rather than every page.

When I set the PAGE level colors to default/inherit, then none of the color settings at the THEME level seem to be controlling the background color of the heading. I’m referring to the background color of where the “About Us” page name or the breadcrumbs would appear. It always shows as light gray no matter what I do.
