Full Post Layout

I’d really like to propose a full-width post type with the featured image full width (screen width) with the title, author, date, etc overlayed instead of the page title & breadcrumbs. I’ve been trying to accomplish this by trying to move the featured image to the page title, but not being a coder I didn’t succeed. I’m hoping that this might be added as an option to the theme in the future (please )
