Making stylesheet update

So every time I make changes to my child theme stylesheet, it takes almost a day for the stylesheet version to update and use the most recent/uncached version. I can’t seem to find where it’s being called in from and I do clear my cache on my browser, but still nothing. Is there any way to edit the template so that each time I check the website, the most recent style.css version is being used?
