Parallax Background Add-On for VC/Bakery Causes Critical Error (Some Hosts)

More of a comment than a question since we fixed it: Specifically for me, Pantheon’s git mode (and Test/Live areas) were throwing critical errors when Parallax add-on for VC/Bakery was active (message is below in case it’s needed)

We edited our wpconfig file to play nice with the plugin how it is, but the error causing thing seemed to be: On line 2097 of ‘/VC_Ultimate_Parallax.php’, WP_Filesystem() is being used to read a version information file. This causes issues with some web hosts, and can be replaced with file_get_contents().

Would love to be advised if it gets fixed though!
